The museum is 10 km distant, you can get there by car or bike. Visitors gain insight into the life of
farmers and yeomen in the Middle Ages. The exposition of the museum comprise notable cultural
sightseeings which were moved here from the flooded villages during the construction of Liptovská
Mara dam. The precious parts of the original buildings were taken apart and fitted in their exact
copies
School of folk crafts shows in summer season examples of folk crafts and Liptov folk customs.
In the upper part of the museum is situated the exposition of the historical Považská forest railway.
The museum has its own ZOO aimed at breeding of domestic animals and poultry.
The attraction of the museum is breeding of Hucul horses. There is a possibility to have a ride on
them.
